ATAK is a music label founded by Keiichiro Shibuya and maria in 2002.
they formed a laptop unit "slipped disk", and released the first CD "ATAK001".
Not only releasing avan-garde/electro music as a label, ATAK sets a platform of their activity with broad range of creators from such as design, network technology and others. Later in 2002, Keiichiro Shibuya was involved in the commenmoration CD of founding of Mori Art Museum. In 2003, he released a CD “ATAK002 keiichiro shibuya + yuji takahashi” in collaboration with Yuji Takahashi, a Japanese composer/pianist. Later in 2003 ATAK made a domestic concert tour with Icelandic stilluppsteypa. In 2004, Shibuya released his first solo album “ATAK000 keiichiro shibuya”. His dense composition in that he drastically focused in sound material(color) and rhythm, was described as “a perfect work that rules over the history of electronic music”.
Recently Shibuya has been continuing collaboration with Yuji Takahashi(composer/pianist), Takashi Ikegami(complex system researcher/associate professor at Tokyo University) and Masaki Fujihata(media artist/professor at Tokyo National Unicersity of Fine Arts and Music). In 2005 Shibuya and Ikegami started their collaboration as they exhibited a sound installation work at ICC (Inter Communication Center of Tokyo Oprera City) and made a concert-style presentation to unveil the “The Third Term Music,” a music theory of sound variation and the motion dynamics based on nonlinear sciences. In 2006 they exhibited an extensive new sound installation “filmachine” that created three-dimensional sound space by making full use of twenty four speakers and LED lights. And it attracted the attention of the mass media domestically and internationally.
Nowadays, the CDs are sold in Europe and U.S. Keiichiro Shibuya has become one of the most-watched person in Japanese sound art and media art. His blog on ATAK’s website counts 5,000 hits a day(japanese only).
In February 2007, through collaboration with Panasonic, he released the first ever headphone listening CD “ATAK010 filmachine phonics” and made a concert tour “ATAK+GOEM+PAN SONIC JAPAN TOUR] in three cities of Tokyo(Daikanyama UNIT), Kyoto(University of Art and Media) and Ymaguchi(YCAM). This concert involved Finnish artists Pan Sonic, and Dutch artist Frans de Waard.
filmachine/filmachine phonics won a honorary mention on a category "DIGITAL MUSICS" in Prix Ars Electronica 2007.
Would you send a kiss to save the world To keep someone, maybe you, from dying in it?
Would you send a kiss To save your favorite girl?
What would you kiss that you would put on this list?
We all think we know what we are fighting for Until something hurts us Then generations later Still asking ourselves Was it worth it Seem to go through the same thing We can wake up from a bad dream With screams Or when we reach for a kiss For that we open our eyes And say I want more of this And we go through that day Longing for that kiss Could you imagine saving the world With a simple kiss list?
I kiss my pen And it bleeds So that maybe We wont be leaves Blown away In a win-less storm
I kiss my friend's bliss And they say they love me Year after year of this Loyalty Inspired by spirit kiss
Would you send a kiss to save your favorite video game?
You name What would make you aim your lips And send a kiss
Hendrix kissed the sky Would you kiss the child in you You hide the cries And truly say I'll be OK Today I'll make myself my own baby And kiss me bliss 'Til no pain can stay
And once I'm entrenched In the practice of this I'll see clearly What I love And put that on my kiss list
I once blew a kiss to hate And watched hate become confused And wait
What is on your wish list? That you consent to bliss kiss? A kiss for your business? For your dreams? For your favorite sports team? Sports hero? Your favorite car? I'm blowing you a bliss kiss So maybe you'll put something On your wish list Hoping maybe we'll build up enough bliss To offset all war With a simple kiss
Call me a fool But some things are worth writing for

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
Adviruz and Section 27 present "Nightly Sounds", an intricately woven and rewarding musical tapestry. Available now for free download.

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
