'A Tale of Two Cities' the musical is Jill Santoriello's Broadway adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novel. Set in the years leading up to, during, and following the French Revolution, the musical follows the lives of several protagonists through these events, most notably Charles Darnay, a French once-aristocrat who falls victim to the indiscriminate wrath of the Revolution despite his virtuous nature, and Sydney Carton, a dissipated English barrister who endeavors to redeem his ill-spent life out of love for Darnay's wife, Lucie Manette.
saw the show in previews on the 13th and loved it. cast was great and you were all super nice at the door. and then it started to rain which was sad! cant wait to turn others onto the show :)
