HOW COME I "FRIEND" REQUESTED YOU BUT GOT REJECTED?
We know we're supposed to have as many friends as possible. In terms of rock & roll--although most bands seem to leave out the "& roll" part--this objective is trite, contrarian and tired. Believe it or not, maximizing your identity as a capitalist stultifies the arts.
SO YOU GUYS BROKE UP?
Playing rock & roll music in the 21st Century is synonymous with saying, "I have an impressive amount of time, space and money." We don't. There are some people who do, like The Strokes, or any suburban emo/screamo/indie band you might see on Fuse. Coincidentally, music sounds like birth control. That said, counter-culture has conspiratorially morphed into a healthy mix of not having tattoos and supporting mass consumerism. So we didn't break up, it's just that writing music is sort of like working at Wal-Mart.
at a loss i still heart you guys and still aspire to be as good as ayron at guitar.ayron is like those Esteban infomercials. you see them and believe you can be esteban, but you can't. Steve Blackwell is like your cousin who eats the last row of Chips Ahoy's soft baked cookies. Damn i really wanted a soft baked cookie. Shit now i want cookies.
