The humble beginnings of A Taste of Atrocity were in 1998 when Jordan and Jr. played their first (and only) show together in a battle of the bands. The band parted ways shortly thereafter and both went onto other projects. Jordan formed Pulse, and later RUINorPEACE. Jr. hooked up with Jim to form Prodd., Downwind and finally Camaro on guitar and bass. During this period, Kyle was just escaping the clutches of his mother’s womb. He eventually discovered the drums and formed many projects along the way of his high school days, such as: Acid in the Morning, Zarathustra, Cooter, and Death by Unga-Bunga.
However, most stories have an ending and it just so happened that all our stories ended around the same time quite conveniently, to form A Taste of Atrocity. It has been a full circle process as three Preston High School students came together in musical harmony with Kyle as the icing on our delicious, ridiculously maimed cake.. so to speak.
Having been in the “laboratory” for so long.. concocting a distinct, noticeable brand of music, A.T.O.A. is ready to break loose and take casualties from town to town.. ears open- listen, watch and enjoy as we deliver our own brand of heavy, groove-laden, melodic, chunky metal.
