All Things Considered are five musicians who have come together to create bold, fulfilling music with a 'stripped down' vibe. Haunting vocals, striking guitar licks, soaring violin and a pulsating rhythm section are all in evidence in a sound influenced by many different styles, yet keeping its base completely acoustic.
2008 saw the band play gigs both large and small all over London and the South East of England, including the legendary Troubadour Club and various festivals across the country. This year they released their debut album 'Scarecrow' and are booked for gigs and festivals throughout the summer. The band intends to slowly but surely build their reputation and fan base to become one of the exciting prospects on the acoustic scene.
All Things Considered have been played on the It's A Frog's Life Acoustic Podcast Show 93 - Now where were we? - which welcomes the show back after an enforced break. And to celebrate we've got some fantastic acoustic music from Liverpool and across the UK. Bring it on! ..

The Kittiwakes - CD Launch - Clerkenwell 22nd June
Leigh-on-Sea 3-piece, The Kittiwakes, celebrate the release of their Midwich Records debut, ‘Lofoten Calling’, a collection of original folk songs written about the people, landscape, folklore and history of the Lofoten Islands above the Arctic Circle and influenced by the traditional music of Norway and the British Isles.
'The Kittiwakes craft timeless and magical acoustically dappled folk treats - gentle and alluring ostensibly Gaelic in sound texture and gorgeously flighty braided as they are by corteges of mandolins, accordions and violins.' [LOSING TODAY]
'The Kittiwakes (rissa tridactyla): delicious, intriguing and evocative music, beautifully played and sung by this talented trio. Recommended to twitchers and lovers of folk music alike' [LEIGH FOLK FESTIVAL]
Cheers, look forward to seeing you guys again! For now the only date i been given is the 22nd July, but that is provisional. Its basically on a see what happens basis, the management of the place is fairly new and i will probably know the date in August after when the next one happens - its probably going to be the last Wedsday of every month. I will be in contact nearer the time.
I am basically runnin it like the one at the Grey Horse used to be - featured artists slots (non paid) and open miccers, i also have a new night planned else where, so i will let u know if that goes ahead as well. If you did come down i will need to know how many instruments you use, for assurances i have enough mixing desk inputs.
