I live in the Ocala National Forest since 1984.I work in the area,too.I have 3 children,two are adults.I share my home with several felines and an Australian Kelpie.
I am a witch.I've been practicing for 34 years.I'm of the old school.....you don't read a book or put on a pentacle and claim to be a witch.It is a way of life and one does adhere to certain codes of honor.I'm not a Wiccan witch,too formal for me.A witch is a witch is a witch.The witch is the magick and wherever the witch is,is sacred ground.I believe a witch should be able to use her/his abilities wherever the witch is regardless of time,moon phase,etc.The original witches didn't have time to worry about all that ceremony.
Part of being a witch is giving respect to the earth and her creatures.I take care of a small colony of stray/feral cats.I feed and supply medical care when necessary.The cats are neutered/spayed,released,and usually stay around my yard.The most humane way to handle strays/ferals is TNR,trap/neuter/release.This ends the breeding and the colony will eventually die out.
You work well with others. That is, you're good at getting them to do work for you.
It's true that you get by on your charm. But so what? You make people happy!
