Happy Happy Birthday To Me Records is proud to present the Athens Popfest 2008. This year will be a 5 day event featuring 75 bands from around the world. This year dates will be August 12th through August 16th. The event will begin with a DVD premeire on the 12th, and then the rest of the fest will take place at Little Kings, the Flicker Theatre, the Caledonia Lounge, and the 40 Watt Club . Check the "Schedule" page on our website for information on times and locations as well as a complete band listing as it gets closer to the festival.
The Tickets are limited to 150 for a 4 day pass since only 150 people can go to Little Kings due to the size. So if you want to go to the first paying day August 13th and all the afternoon shows you better buy a 4 day pass. Individual passes will be sold for the 14th ,15th, & 16th 40 Watt Shows. This year the tickets will go very fast and will no doubt be sold out quickly so be sure and get your tickets early in advance or you will miss out on this amazing 5 day festival. On how to play the Athens PopFest, this is very easy. We are currently taking submissions to play popfest via the SonicBids link above. We will be choosing bands from SonicBids as well as booking some bands directly from our initial list of bands we want to play. We plan on booking at least 15 bands of the 75 bands via SonicBids submissions.

Hey hows you? just wanted to mention iam touring all over the UK from september for a year, traveling all over got the first 4 months up and adding more and more to it, the first 3 months is for Busking For Cancer :) in Aid for cancer research, all the shows are free so would be awesome to see you at a show supporting wat im touring for, check out our dates and if we arnt playing in your area then please do let us know cause it is for a FULL year so we wanna get everywhere and anywhere :) also recording new stuff this weekend so new songs will be up :) anyways hoping ur having a good start to the summer.
