In the early spring of 2006, a creation of musical genius was born in the great city of Buffalo, located in the western region of the state of New York. (Quick geography lesson…to those unfamiliar with New York – which approximates about 96.34% of the world’s population – Buffalo is its own municipality and not a suburb of the metropolis known as New York City).
This awe-inspiring act known as Athera has not only captivated audiences with its immaculate interpretation of hard rock music, but has redefined what sexual beauty is for an entire generation. With rock hard abs that would be the envy of any man (Fabio, I’m looking in your direction), and hair that doesn’t resemble that of a 14th century pre-pubescent squire (i.e., 92.657% of today’s bands), Athera has become the 21st century model for bodily perfection. It is only a matter of time when this quintet will be mentioned alongside other sexual icons including, but not limited to: Tom Selleck, Eric Estrada and the guy who played Boner on “Growing Pains.” In the following paragraph, staying in line with the standard conventions of band biographies, the accomplishments of this fine, young act will be recounted…
Athera has shared the stage with several international touring acts including: Skindred, Trust Company, Life of Agony, The Burden Brothers (featuring Vaden Todd Lewis of the Toadies), Badfish, Project 86, Inhale Exhale, Chasing Victory, Sullivan, Horse the Band, Black Light Burns (featuring Wes Borland, former Limp Bizkit guitarist) and Julien-K (former members of Orgy). The band has also appeared alongside pop-punk heavyweights New Found Glory on a sampler disc released through Substream Music Press in the Fall of 2007.
I know right! Sabres on an effing losing skid. The Bills continue to be the STD of the league "nobody wants to f*ck with us" and UB is not going to any bowl game this year.
Well I guess it could be worse, we could be Kansas City fans. I dunno. Lol.
How's the music going by the way?
Well hold up there...big 2-1 victory over the Calgary Flames! Ryan Miller doing what he does (shut sh*t down) we got this! I am all the way in NYC waving my blue and gold proudly right now. Let's just hope we put the puck in the net against the traitor Danny B. and Ray "I think I am a boxer" Emery. Can't stand the Flyers!
BTW Chris Berman picked the Bills to beat Tennessee this weekend, so that just means we'll lose by 20. Thanks Boom! Go Bills! Go fire Dick(head) Jaroun
GOT TO LOVE THESE 3-5 BILLS...ANOTHER SEASON OF DISSAPOINTMENT. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE THE SABRES JUST LOST 2 IN A ROW FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON. GOTTA LOVE IT!
hey how are you? we just wanted you to go to our page and check out our songs. we also have our cd available for sale on Snocap on our page. keep in touch!
So Sid the F**king Kid wins a cup before us and our merry band of disfunctional misfits. Can we really do some winning this year? F***! I mean really PA? They won the f*cking world series (Phillies) who gives a shit about baseball, then the Steelers win the Super Bowl and Penguins win the cup. Damn! Can we win something besides some f***** lacrosse championships lol. I'm done venting what's up man? lol.
Hi boys :) Just stopping in to let you know that the 2nd annual memorial picnic for Jay will be Saturday May 30th at Delta Lake State Park in Rome. I wasn't sure if info had gotten to you guys yet or not, so I wanted to make sure you knew. I know some of you guys wanted to make it down last year. Hope to see you there!
PS-there's also a memorial golf tournament the next day, the 31st, but I'm not sure about all the info on that one. I can talk to Jay's mom if you guys are interested. I don't golf so I'll prob just ride around in a golf cart and booze :) haha
