im puttin together a mixtape with tracks from the hottest indie acts in athens and surrounding counties..it will be hosted by Dj Burn one or Southern Bred mixtape masters....i will also be throwing a mixtape release party to promote the album...the mixtape will be passed out for free in every georgia mall and club we can get it to....Why should I submit my song? To get valuable input form industry professionals and the opportunity to reach millions of listeners in markets across the country.
How do I get on the mixtape? Just sign up for an account and submit your song for an upcoming mixtape. At the end of the submission period the 15 highest rated songs will be chosen to go on the release. Selected artists will be notified within seven (7) days of deadline.
How can I get a guaranteed spot on the mixtape? After the top 15 songs have been selected one sponsored slot will be acutioned off for each mixtape. To place your bid for one of these slote just email a copy of your song with your bid ammount and the selected mixtape to goodstockent@yahoo.com . The top bid within 14 days after of the mixtape deadline.
How much does it cost to submit a song? Basic song submissions are $20. Premium song submissions are $50.
What’s the difference between basic and premium submission? Both submission types are rated by our review panel for the opportunity to be placed on selected mixtapes but we have an industry professional sit down with each premium submission to analyze the record and prepare a written marketing consultation. Your written consultation will include an objective review of the song, a list of potential markets to work the record in, ideas to improve the song and promotional advice for pushing the project. This consultation will be sent by email within five business days of receipt.
