About me:
Kid at heart......
My real name is Scott Austin

I really did not really get serious about mixing on the turn tables-(I started messing with them in 1998)until then about 4 years ago for some reason I started to get serious about mixing...
Also, I learned to mix without head phones--what I did I actually memorized the vinyls & tracks...After a year I finally got some head phones!!!
I went to clubs to check out what the real djs' were mixing with-got some ideas from them-went back home and practiced, trying to remember some of the tracks they mixed with the ones that I liked(and watched how the crowd reacted to the mixes.(I know some people may call that cheating but,it does get you motivated-gets your started)(then as time goes by your own style comes out..)
DJ's that I looked up too and had big influences on the music that I mix with:(All of which are from Florida)
DJ D-XTREME from Orlando Florida--he mixed breaks(funky) and his own style of breaks..He was my favorite Dj...(had the biggest influence on me-awesome feel for the music!!
Other djs' that I really looked up to was dj Kimball Collins, Majic Mike(the scratch master!!), ICY, HardKiss brothers, Rob-E, AGH( Andy Hughes)-all of them have influenced my style of music that I mix with now,Much respect to all of them!!!(GOOD ORLANDO BOYS!!) And Big Respect to all the dj's through out the world..
My biggest regret in the past years I wish that I really got into the dj thing years ago, but now I am more serious about the music...I would have more knowledge now if I was really serious back then, but as it is now I am still learning, and learning new stuff, but I am really having fun with my music, and that it what it is all about for me, and hoping other people really like my tunes....I am always learning tricks from other djs that I know-it keeps djing fun for me,you can always get better--What I have always liked--is watch people enjoying themselves on the dance floor(no matter how small or big the floor is)when I see them getting into my tunes-that really makes me feel good-keeps me motivated to continue to get creative with my style of music...I have really not had any gigs at any clubs, just one bar I got to spin at..I got to spin at house parties, and back in the day when I had house parties I got on the tables-but always had guest dj's at my house parties-much better than myself..
My main focus these days is my Internet radio station, my website...And still trying to learn more tricks of the trade.
And I just want to state here that I really do want to thank all my friends that have supported me with my dj stuff, and continue to today!! Also wanted to thank 2 awesome djs(and they happen to be my friends) DJ DANTASTIC, DJ MATTRIX-for helping out all these years..One thing that we used to do back in the day-is they would come over to my house and work on sets, we would play a game-each one of would have to play off the others mixes:each of us was required to play 3 vinyls(they would grab from thier crate of vinyls pull them out visa versa, this was awesome practice, it really made you work hard to mix from those 3 vinyls then you would have to play off their mixes, we would take turns for hours!!!I really miss that practice with them... but BIG UP 2 BOTH OF THEM for being so patient with me!!They had to put up with a slow learner(some dj's everything comes natural for them-I really have to work 10 times more then most djs out there)
But thanks goes out to everyone that has help me out!!!
Big up to all those dj/s in the world for all the awesome music they spread around!! Makes the world a truly awesome place!! Music is a way for me to escape "Life" at times!!
