Banda formada em Novembro de 2007, na cidade de Belo Horizonte com o intuito de levar para as pessoas um som próprio de bastante qualidade e muito profissionalismo.
Apesar do pouco tempo de banda, o Athra conta com três integrantes de uma outra banda de Heavy Metal de São Paulo, chamada Havilla, que está na ativa desde 1999.
Vitor, Wagner e Julio se dedicaram por nove anos ao Havilla, sendo que neste período lançaram duas demos a partir das quais foram abertas muitas portas como shows e um contrato de gravação com o selo Megahard Records, que devido a problemas internos na gravadora a banda não pôde iniciar as gravações ocorrendo assim quebra de contrato.
Agora em Belo Horizonte, Julio Cesar (Bateria), Vitor Souza (Teclado) e Wagner Souza (Guitarra) se juntam a Talitha Ferraz (Vocal) e Matheus Felipe (Baixo) para iniciarem uma nova banda.
As influências vêm de várias bandas e estilos dentro do Heavy Metal, mas sempre se preocupando nunca em copiar nenhuma banda e sim fazer um som original com bastante variação, peso e melodia.

Band formed in November of 2007, in the city of Belo Horizonte with the intention of taking to the persons an own sound of enough quality and much professionalism. In spite of a little time of band, the Athra tells of three integrants of another band of Heavy Metal of Sao Paulo, called Havilla, that it is in the active service from 1999. Vitor, Wagner and Julio devoted himself for nine years to the Havilla, being that in this period they launched two we gave from which many doors were opened like shows and a contract of carving with the stamp Megahard Records, that due to internal problems into the record company the band could not initiate the carvings taking place so it breaks of contract. Now in Belo Horizonte, Julio Cesar (Drums), Vitor Souza (Keyboard) and Wagner Souza (Guitars) the (Vocal) Talitha Ferraz and Matheus Felipe (Bass) join to begin a new band. The influences come from several directions and styles inside the Heavy Metal, but always never preoccupying in copying no band and yes doing a sound original with enough variation, weight and melody.
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
