Athuai Rush, born in Allentown, PA & company work to provide an authentic experience rooted in the soul including the rhythms of jazz, blues, funk, folk, African, Indian, & various world musics.
Currently performing & teaching in Austin, TX, Athuai has been singing & playing music for almost 20 years w/various bands, artistic collaborations & solo-wise in cafes, clubs, recordings & festivals stemming from his upbringing in eastern Pennsylvania & moving through Ithaca, NY, Ashland, OR, Tucson, AZ, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Albuquerque, NM & now in Austin w/his new band.
His music is original & based in the Spirit of Love.
