Who I'd like to meet:

Atkins Academy is working with young black people to raise aspirations, maximise potential and create opportunities for success. We are a specialist mentoring and education provider based in Ilford. Our ethos is one of inclusion, inspiration and involvement. We believe we can make a difference in young people's lives. We are mainly looking to meet young black people, aged 14-19, who are looking for meaningful activities, mentoring and education. Have you been excluded from school? Are you school phobic? Do you feel like no one understands you? Do you dream of a better future? Would you like to have something meaningful to do? Get in touch and see what we can do for you! We are also looking for volunteers and mentors who would like to contribute some of their free time to help young people get a better life. As our main client group is black, you need to be black, mixed race or have a special understanding of our young people and their problems and challenges to work with us.
