well we don't try to sound like no one but who we are. but some say we sound like the crabb family and some say the perrys and even the hinsons but diffently don't try. we love all of these groups and look up to them every much.
The Atkins Family 22 Hall Rd. Taylors SC 29687. The Atkins Family has been singing for over 30 years and are Bible believing, born again Christians who love doing the Lords work. It started out with Don Atkins, the grandfather, back in the 70's and now it is his son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren carrying on the ministry. Now, they are a full-time group doing over 150 dates a year. The group now consists of Tim Atkins (the father), Teresa Atkins (the mother), Jamie Atkins (son), and Crystal Atkins (Jamies wife). Tim, and Jamie have a God- given talent for music. Tim plays drums, bass and guitar. Jamie plays the bass and saxophone in every service, but he can also play drums, guitar and about anything else he could want to. The Atkins Family travels all over the country singing and ministering where ever God will open doors for them. They have opened up for Karen Peck and New River at her annual homecoming, and sang with many others including Jody Brown Indian Family, The Roy Knight Singers, Namoi and the Segos, and The Campbells. They also sang on the SGMA Fanfair for the past two years. Wherever they go they just try to obey the Lord and let Him have His way in each and every service and hope to see souls saved. Teresa and Jason another son have the wonderful God-given talent of writing songs and Jamie has a great musical talent for arranging music, so they do a lot of original songs. God has really blessed and anointed this group and they hope to go to many more places and spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
