The idea for the name Atlantic Tiger was struck on the Vancouver Seabus as two young students peered out upon the ocean's horizon and spotted a huge cargo ship with the unusual name across its side - in big, bold, white letters. Atlantic Tiger is Amanda Hutchison, a 19-year-old from Capilano University, currently enrolled in the Arts & Entertainment Management program. She uses the software Reason with an M-AUDIO midi controller to compose all her songs, and adds her own vocals to the tracks using faithful Garage Band - all of her computer skills were learned from her Music Composition class in high school (a class she was highly grateful for). Although nobody knows it, it is her ultimate dream to become a professional musician, recording artist, and performer... nobody knew about the dream until now, however...
