Atlantis Music was first established in 1990, during this period mostly serving as the retailer of the styles of Rock, Heavy Metal and Jazz titles.
A dedicated specialist of these music genres, Atlantis Music has covered a serious deficiency in Turkey. Because of the irregular importations and unsuccesful distributions of such titles by some companies of the day, many releases could not be able to reach their optimum potential numbers.
Encouraged by these conditions Atlantis Music Family has started its importing and exporting operations in 1996 doing business with partners from UK, Germany, Holland, Spain, and France etc. Atlantis Music continues to work with SPV, Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Roadrunner, Snapper whom it representes on all levels from licensing to importing from press promoting to organizing live shows in Turkey.
After supporting many concert promoters for shows in Turkey , Atlantis finally began active involvement in organizations of its artists with the Megadeth and Yngwie Malmsteen shows in 2001. Around the same period people around the music industry were recognizing the company and began sending demos, insisting it was high time Atlantis Music began productions with its vast market experience.
Finally convinced that Turkey, deserves it first Rock label after all, Atlantis signed Metaroth, Crossfire, Notwithstanding, Dimness Throught Infinity, Moribund Oblivion, False In Truth, Cenotaph ect. The company also undertook to distribution recently, serving as an outlet to Turkish bands to supply their releases to music fans around the globe.
Atlantis aims to distribute many local labels here to the outer markets. Atlantis Music has always been in friendly long lasting and harmonious relations with its partners.
