Formed by longtime friends and bandmates Mason Ian, billie the girl & Joel Blickenstaff, Atlas Takes Aim emerged out of the Las Vegas scene in the summer of 2006.
They quickly established themselves and won fans for their cathartic and energized live performances, and for their memorable and unique songs.
They are also known for their strong DIY ethic. Each album is wholly created, start to finish, by the members of Atlas Takes Aim. They mix, master and produce the whole thing themselves.
Their first "unofficial" cd (The 12th Month EP) was originally created just to book gigs, but it sold out.
Their first official release the "Tuesday EP" came onto the scene in 2008 and pushed the band to greater heights.
The newest album, the "Wednesday EP", has elevated Atlas Takes Aim's sound. Go on, have a listen.
