It was on the furthest reaches of the known Universe. This is the reason why it took so long for the message and the messenger to get there. His journey, and there's, was to be the greatest, most important trek of there histories. After his arrival, the people were convinced. He spoke, "come with me into the stars". He confided in their fears, embraced them with love, and exclaimed on to them on the holiest of days, that glorious contact day, "you are not alone". The planet roared with excitement, as the keys to the universe were unveiled.
The messenger returned from which he came as the planet united in the construction of a starship. Their dream realized, their mission decided, one turn around the universe was all it would take. During their journey, they encountered wonders beyond belief. In all there excitement, they had miss calculated there course, landing them inside a nebulae, a wonderland, lost in time.
They finally returned home, only to find thousands of years had passed. The year now, by there calendar was 1947. Such a long journey these brave souls endured only to crash upon their arrival. One messenger survived long enough to give us the gift. A small box, playing sounds, never heard before and an alien inscription on the front. H.O.P.E..
It was shortly after this, that we received our first extraterrestrial message. Only to translate it on the brink of our own destruction. These strange alien words, that changed our hearts forever, begged so patiently for us to realize, that we're not alone, and that everyone in the universe, must learn it sometime.
This is when all the people of the planet wept, embraced each other, and united in the construction of a starship, to take them away, take them away.
Most famous for the classic pioneering progressive trance hit, You're Not Alone (Atom-You're Not Alone on Atlantic/Nebulous Records), Atom brought a new look and much imitated sound to the trance/dance scene.
Being one of the first male singers in a female dominated market, and against the record companies wishes, he even added rock guitars, now heard all over modern dance music.
Atom has produced and written for many, many artists.
Releases in 2004 to 2005, saw a double cd set, "Millennium", the follow up second atom CD, "atom-I Have Returned", the infamous, "Destination Earth-Contact Day", the "You're Not Alone-The Singles", and most recently
"atom-Re-ViSiTaTiOn".
