Our noises range from Sham 69 to Motorhead, Lawnmower Deth to The Misfits and from Black Flag to The Exploited - all spiced up with helpings of Bad News and Goldfish.
We dont think that any one band influences us, what we do think is that whatever is going on around us influences our writing, for example - The scum of society, the ASBO generation, people who winge about things thay have chosen to do and of course fat and ugly people.
We just watch life and take notes, then we'll sing you a song about it, when we've done that we'll beat you up and sing a song about that in your bleeding ears!

Sounds Like
A fucking great night out,
beer, dancing, fighting, kebabs, more beer and being sick on the way home- superb! Motorhead influences mixed with a raw and energetic punk sound.

Atombuzz the band formed back in 1993. But in 1995 Alex, Natt and Ian became the core. 1993-1996 saw the band working hard trying to make a name for themselves in the local scene and the chaotic live shows became legendary. Also in 1996 an E.P was recorded called the FYG E.P. Sadly tensions in the band were at an all time high and the band was put on ice. Members concentrated on side projects, families, careers and feuds.
The band was reborn in 2000 and began rehearsing furiously and playing a couple of shows before tragedy struck and the band was once again put on ice.
2005 saw a stable line up emerge and a healthy rehearsal and gigging schedule followed. Around this time the band recorded D.O.A (decade of alcohol, binge drinking and casual violence) the first recorded output in nearly a decade. The album includes 10 songs written between 1996 and 2005 (the band call it a best of!).
2007 saw the line up change and a refocused, reenergized, angrier and louder Atombuzz emerged.
The sound of the band has progressed (regressed) from heavy metal to hardcore punk with heavy Motorhead style influences. Lyrically the band has always written about society and the things that anger them. At times the material has been viewed as comical but all the material has serious undertones despite interpretation.

Review for Decade Of Alcohol from Killer Dienamite Magazine
"Real punk is not Fall Out Boy. Real punk is not inoffensive lyrics about love. Real punk is offensive, fast and contains a lot of shouting- Atombuzz are real punk! This album is far from perfect but it is amusing in every way and you can tell Atombuzz are having fun playing their music. The lyrics make it an even more enjoyable listen and the music isn't half bad either. Atombuzz are here to show everyone just how punk is supposed to be done, and they do a damn good job at it. It’s really good actually, really impressed."
Review from the Rock Brighton Web Forum:
You're punk, proper punk. As opposed to the current trend of fucking happy clappy, often ska influenced, fuckwank for posh 14 year old kids, having their rebellious phase before becoming accountants. - by IDST-TK
Nick Hatton from I made this Records:
“Atombuzz are a really down to earth band. Polite, professional and very easy to work with. Their stage presence and attitude has made them a pleasure to put on many times!”
