  • Bio

Atom Eve Eclipse began when guitarist/vocalist JBL called guitarist Chip after finding an ad at a local guitar shop. Local drummer Hoagy replaced their first drummer Daryl about a year later and bassist Clay rounded out the lineup shortly thereafter. This ended an almost two year quest to put the band together. They ran through a string of names and finally became Atom Eve Eclipse... .. .. Exactly three weeks after the formation of the group, they entered the recording arena with material written by JBL and Chip and left with a 10 song demo. It was released locally with strong reviews and respectable college radio airplay. The band immediately resumed playing live and crafting more material. Brad Bolt jumped on board and in no time they stormed into a local 16 track studio/warehouse, The Glass Hand, to start work on a full length CD. Their efforts rewarded the band and it's fans with 15 well tuned songs on their first self-released CD, Future Shock & Exorcism. .. .. The material melds the collective influences of all members into a stream of heavy-goth-classic-alternative-experimental music. Mark Miley was the Engineer on both this and the next recording and his influence and expertise shine through. .. .. Following the release of their first CD, they set out to perform live again and continued to develop and hone their sound. That period of growth and focus drove them back into the studio. There they recorded, mixed and mastered 13 new songs at Montana studios in VA one year later. .. .. It took two more years to get them back into the studio, and in the fall they recorded and mastered 9 more songs and started to assemble their second CD, No Suspension of Disbelief, which was released by EyeSphere Productions in the summer of 2000. The band is currently working on a 3rd self-released and self-recorded CD tentatively titled "The Maze". .............. .. ALL IMAGES & SONGS ON THIS SITE ARE COPYRIGHTED
