• proto drag kinging in "Sex & Drag & Rock & Roles" with Jordy Mark at the first W.O.W. Festival 1980, and as Gram Parsons with The dBs as Flying Burrito Bros at the infamous Club 57.
• 24-29 Formed avantjazz punkestra IDIOTsavant in Amsterdam in 82, moving the band to London in 85. They released 2 records on Eksakt/Rough Trade.
• 30--33 In London: Sang, blew harp and stage dove with punkabilly harmonizers, the Well-Oiled Sisters. Wrote the music for Nicole Freni's play Brooklyn E5. Named and contributed to Quim, the magazine.
• 34-38 Returned to San Francisco in 92, formed dyke-a-billy darlins The Bucktooth Varmints.
• co-starred with Elvis Herselvis in the first drag king rock musical Hillbillies On the Moon, produced at Theater Rhinoceros 96. Toone also writ them tunes.
