"A Tragic Farewell" is a catchy, pop-punk band from the heart of Missouri. Ironic- we think so. With almost a year under the belt, the band is learning, and very quickly, what it takes to be talented musicians. Testing their musical ability, the band is writing more complicated and complex songs. Vocals that have recieved one ratings at Districts, A Lead guitarist only settles for the best sounding riffs, a drummer that has had honors with his ability, have made this band one of a kind. Lyrics reflect life time stories from all members and the music reflects the emotion that this 3-piece band puts into their songs. With summer rolling out, the band is using precious time to grow closer, write songs, and play shows that they hope everyone will enjoy.
The Meaning of "A Tragic Farewell"
A Tragic Farewell is the name of the band, after their original name of "Skool Lunch" was deemed ridiculous. A Tragic Farewell reflects the events in life in which no one can stop from happening. It seems that in everyone's life, we face an event of this such nature. The band puts lyrics and music to their tragic goodbye's to tell stories of their hardships and blood and sweat. Examples of "A Tragic Farewell's" can include, but are not limited to: Your childhood cat being hit by a car, your dog dominating a squirrel Your dumb redneck cousin crashing his four wheeler into an abandoned rock quarry resulting in a fiery explosion Your girlfriend killing you The breakup of Taking Back Sunday

Thanks a lot for the add ! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal.
