The current metalcore-genre has been co-shaped by A Traitor Like Judas at a time when Caliban and Heaven Shall Burn were still insider tips and Neaera hadn’t even started thinking about founding a band. The Band traverses nightmarish walls of sound , bludgeoning riffs with haunting chord passages and melodic guiding themes, devastating double bass drumming like a rhythmic freight train and above all the most fatal and concise breakdowns. With Jasper on vocals A Traitor Like Judas have found a new platoon leader in their sonic assault. Diverse and powerful he manages to articulate the band’s deep-rooted fervor and fury.
Backed up by their monstrous “Nightmare Inc.” album, almost 600 (!) shows all over Europe, a new album in the works that easily outclasses all of the band’s previous material and most of all an irrepressible hunger for more, A Traitor Like Judas is heading full force back into the metal and hardcore world with the means to tear through every listener in their path.
