    .. atrorum is the two-man project of the chronically overdemanded musicians fabian (beNUTS, the neighbours, dryad's tree, golden dawn, truEvil) and jaspeR (the neighbours, dryad's tree, golden dawn, sternenstaub, nebelkraehe), where both can live their love for complex arrangements in the dark/black/avantgarde metal field. the first album himmelsstuermer was released as self-produced demo in 2004 and sent around magazines in europe. the second album, exhibition, was released the following year and brought along first negotiations with labels. due to other musical projects and their real lives, atrorum had to be paused for a while. now, in 2009, work for the third album is in progress, with all the connections to other musicians within their own projects, enough professional help is available to record new material and begin once more the quest for a label. stay tuned, things will become interesting by the end of the year. for more information, visit www.atrorum.de, which is soon to be re-launched. for band contact and cd purchases, please contact jasper at atrorum dot de. both albums himmelsstuermer and exhibition are available over this address. pricing for europe is 8 euros per album plus 2 euros shipping, people from overseas please ask for pricing details.

    there are little influences to mention, as we try to sound unique, but who the hell doesn't, so let's state creative bands like Ulver or the Kovenant as idols in some way, less for the specific music they play but rather for the artistic mentality to reinvent themselves after almost every album.
