October 2008 saw the release of At Sea's debut e.p. Three Sundays in April, which quickly gained heavy rotation on community radio station 4zzz. This culminated in all four tracks off the e.p being included in the top 50 of 4zzz'z Hot 100 songs of 2008.
At Sea are from Brisbane, Australia. We have shared the stage with a whole damn bunch of bands including the likes of The Gin Club, Kill Devil Hills, Mike Noga and the Gentlemen of Fortune, Texas Tea, Sailors and Swine, Gareth Liddiard, Hey Rosetta! (Canada), Midnight Woolf and The Wreckery. At Sea were also included in 2008's Valley Fiesta lineup which showcases some of the best independent music from Brisbane and around Australia. We have also played to packed houses at local venues such as Ric's and The Troubadour.
2008 and saw the release of At Sea's debut EP "Three Sundays in April". All of the songs featured on this EP made it into the top 50 of 4ZZZ's HOT 100 for that year. You can buy the EP at Rockinghorse Records.
