ATTA was started in late February 2007 by Joel Andersson, Agge Bones and Rasmus Ohlin. They was called Gloryhole back then, but played only a few gigs under that name. The band wrote 4 songs, that were recorded after only 6 rehearsals.
The demo called "Offensive is the best the defense" was well received, and ATTA got a lot of gigs in a short period of time. The demo also got voted "Demo of the month" on the American music site Punkrock.org. A music video was made for the song "Karaoke night".
After only a few months of shows, ATTA went back into the studio and recorded their debut album "I just love to say I called you" and released it on their own label, Toypie Records.
"I just love to say I called you" got reviewed in quite a lot of websites and magazines, such a Edge Magazine, Groove and Close-Up Magazine, and even ended up ..-Up's Soundcheck CD for subscribers.
A great review in Groove lead to a European distribution deal with Sound Pollution Distribution.
The gigs kept coming, 25 shows in '08, and ATTA even entered a few contests. They ended up getting the most votes in the Miller Fresh Sounds competition, and got to compete in the finals at well known Café Opera in Stockholm. ATTA also got to be one of four bands in their region in the Bandit Unsigned Comp.
In 2009 ATTA will appear on the Panic & Action released compilation "Burn all the small towns" with their new song "Unforgiven IV". The compilation features bands such as Neverstore, Kid Down, Chemical Vocation, Adept and many more. The band will also release a video for their song, "Unforgiven IV".
The crazy, fun filled, hyperactive and humorous gigging will continue, along with writing new songs for their sophomore album.
2009 will be known to the world as "The year of ATTA".
