First off, thanks to you for visiting this page and keeping the songs alive. I've been laying quite low as of late with little updates about new music but rest assured, life never fails to inspire me to write and record. Unveil & Release is still being recorded whatwith only a few more to finish up. No promises, but I am expecting a late summer, if not autumn release. At this point, there are too many factors to weigh in to make this assumption certain. The best part, however, is that Attach the Enemy is still alive and well, evolving and never weakening in concept. It seems to be reinforcing itself on its own.
Among the various songs that I haven't uploaded on here, I figured at least one song is necessary being as I haven't added any new ones on here in some time. I suspect there will be more added in the future as the countdown to Unveil & Release is nearing.
Some of you may have noticed the website is down. I'm hoping to restore it when it's possible. Keep in touch, freaks.
Ah, the cliché section where I spill my guts about everything spectacular or otherwise about me.
It's all real simple, see. For a time I used to sit in my room for days in the dark with a beat up classical guitar that I used to play non-stop. From there on in, I envisioned what it would be like to convert any kind of musical talent I had into a melodic disaster of voice over chord progressions and random tunings that I assure you, you don't learn unless you've played guitar mostly in the dark.
The idea behind Attach the Enemy is as simple as the projected musical sound. Through music, it became possible for me to do things the way I wanted them to go. It gives me the ability not to care if one song is completely different than the next (despite the fact that it all follows a similar theme). Read the blogs for more information on ATE as I seem to endlessly have things to say about the solo project.
Attach the Enemy is the single battalion necessary for me to convey everything I need to say musically/lyrically alone.
