I like to make people laugh, cook, watch way too many movies (I'm a big movie dork), road trips, live music, sushi, SCRABBLE, comics/graphic novels, reading the news online, trying new foods/wines/beers and being an overall nerd.
Music
Stereolab, The Wedding Present, Yo La Tengo, The Magnetic Fields, Modest Mouse, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion!, Matisyahu, The Flaming Lips, Poster Children, Animal Collective, Built to Spill, Cornelius, Talking Heads, Ladytron and Tenacious D...to name a few. As far as musical styles, I've been listening to alot of nerdcore, shoegazer, 80's punk and 80's synth lately.
Movies
I'm a HUGE movie nerd. I'll watch anything and everthing...except midget porn. I've seen it already and it does nothing for me. I love blockbusters, docs, indie, foreign, animated. You name it, I'll pretty much watch it. Some recent movies I've enjoyed: I Love You Man, Knowing, Watchmen.
Television
Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Robot Chicken, The Wonder Years, The Daily Show, Saturday Night Live, The Tick (animated), Attack of the Show!, The Colbert Report, Spaced, Penn and Teller's Bullshit, Who's Line is it Anyway?, Invader ZIM, Darkplace, Southpark, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia.
Books
Some of my favorite authors: Doug Tennapel, J.R.R Tolkien, Hermann Hesse, Craig Thompson, Jefferey Brown. I'm currently reading The Surrogates by Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele. Also, check out the link to the right for the graphic novel "Red Moon" which I am producing.

About me: ....
I get celebrity guest writers to say something about me in this section of my myspace page. If you would like to hear someone talk about me, let me know. Tonight's guest was recently arrested following a violent encounter with a hooker. Please say hello to that guy from Sham Wow infomercials, Vince Shlomie!
Hi, it's Vince from Sham Wow. You'll be saying "Wow!" everytime you talk to Steve. He's like an old friend, a new pal, a funny co-worker all rolled into one!
Ugh. Okay, I can't do this. I gotta say what's on my mind. Yes, I was recently arrested for beating up a hooker. I don't know what the problem was. Here's all I said to her...
"How much would you expect to get paid for having sex with me?" $50? $100? $200?? Can you believe only $19.99?!"
When she wouldn't seal the deal, I hit her. I'm classy like that.
So now I'm in prison. The big guy in the other cell keeps telling me "I'LL be holding 12 times my weight in liquid now but I won't be lasting 10 years", whatever that means. He's funny.
Anyway, see you guys when I get out!

WOW! Thanks so much for your detailed response and kind comments- I LOVE it!! :)
What fabulous suggestions you offered- I'm definitely going to hit up Comic-Con this year. I'm not sure if they have a Twilight inspired band scene, but what fun to be a part of that! Thanks for the tip- I'm thinking there must be one if Harry Potter has one, LOL! ;)
Funny you should mention Evanescence as I've been hearing that a lot- I think it's my vocal style. I think they sound amazing, so I count myself very lucky to be compared to them!!
Hey Steve, thanks so much for the add request!! Elizabeth told some great things about you. BTW- would love to hear your thoughts on my song- not sure what your taste in music is, but any feedback (good or not so good) is welcomed! Thanks!! :)
you just didn't strike me as the target demographic for it.
someone gave my mom a copy of it, trying to get her to read the book - she asked me what it was about, made a funny face and said, "what on earth would make anyone thing *I* would want to read *that*?"
pretty funny. she still has it, though. i cringe every time i see it on her bookshelf.
i saw watchmen twice. had to go opening night and had to see it in imax. i'll have to call you to find out about swatchmen.
i like the "he's just not that india" idea. way to keep those creative juices flowing!
hmmm, your comic book partner and i both live in ca, and you live in fl. i think i know who needs to move.
Thank you Stevie!! You are so sweet! you know just what I like :) Those were great videos. You know I know I have prob asked you before but do you have a facebook?? I do so if you do let me know :) xoxoxo
That would be cool to see ur office! Have you seen the new Transformers 2 trailer? I saw it yesterday when I saw Slumdog Millionaire and it was awesome!! The trailer and the movie hehe.
I've been doin good, it was real pretty here last couple of days and now all of a sudden this very cold air and crazy wind is here. Almost blew me down today haha. Are you still workin alot? How is the comic?
I have school until 1:30 tomorrow then I am free! I'll be around whenever you call. And yeah I called you jew boy. You always reminded me of a jew...haha.
