AMP has produced some demos and played some live.
They have fought for a while but only now they feel ready for a debut album.
The wait was probably not wrong.
It feels like some pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place now.
The word "attitude" of the band name seems most suitable, for certain is this attitude.
AMP plays pretty brutal, straight metal Punch in the mouth with hints of Motorhead as well as Black Label Society and former Swiss power trio Killer (the guys who probably never even heard).
In songs like "Do not You Know My Name" is also a lot of traces of Swedish band Mustasch.
The "President of the Human Race" is the pure Sabbath-doom in some riffs.
The singer, who is also guitarist, Per "Burner" Nilsson has actually some small features of Ralf Gyllenhammar in his voice, while his solo style is more about Fast Eddie's simple but effective shreds.
There are generally no frills, but effective straight and plain power chords.
Two fingers on the fretboard, downtuned, heads down, no nonsense.
Having that said, it's not simple.
It happens constantly things in the songs, with some nice pace changes that spruce it up.

AMP was formed in the end of 2003 in Stockholm by the initiative of Pelle "Burner" Nilsson.
Burner formed the band togheter with bassplayer Bjorn Elenfors and found the drummer Janne Johansson.
During time Bjorn left and was(after some tryouts) replaced with "Skunk" present basplayer.
Janne Johansson left the band due to personal reasons back in 2007, and was replaced during a period by Jouni Happala of "De Lyckliga Kompisarna"(Swedish classic Punk band).

Som det verkar nu så har vi på gång en inspelningshelg typ nästan gratis, så det passar ju oss perfekt i dagsläget, då det bara handlar om att få något inspelat överhuvudtaget. Sen vet man ju inte om det kommer att låta som man tänkt sig.
Kanske vill man ha det annorlunda, särskilt när man väl har låtar till en hel platta. Så tips emottages tacksamt sen vad det lider.
It doesn't work in my Jeep, but I loaded it on my PC, and burned myself a copy that does work in my vehicle. Sounds great, dude. The guitar tone is ripping. Skunk has kind of a modern Geezer Butler feel just a little bit. Kick ass Burner. I didn't expect any less from you and AMP. Keep on rockin!!!!
