The band was born in 2003.

At the end of 2004 they sign their first contract with the label Videoradio; the album titled "A parte" is produced by the band and immediately receives the attention of magazines, webzines and radios of the prog - world.
The album is distributed in the whole Italy, but is receiving enthusiastic attentions also in Germany, Japan, United States, Canada, France, where important webzines and newspapers reviewed and fully promoted the band.
In 2006 they open the Italian dates for Tony Levin, during his World Tour.
In 2008 line-up changes, and ATTO IV are ready for a new chapter...
The band proposes a mix between rock progressive and fusion, opened to musical experimentation and research. More instrumentality than sung parts is a precise choice to use voice as an element of the composition, on very strict, but rich, lyrics. The band sings in Italian both to distinguish from other productions in English, and revaluate and promote - in this style - one of the most musical languages in the World.
