My passions are constantly evolving. When my life is ideal, I am:
Having fun with everything I do.
Co-creating a mutually satisfying emotional and physical relationship with the soulmate of my dreams.
Living in perfect mental and physical health.
Enjoying the journey of creating residual income and being a multimillionaire.
Enjoying being surrounded by inspiring, creative and successful people who are fun to work and spend time with.
...this or something better.

I am developing a habit of making every decision in favor of these passions.
I am open to what is appearing in the moment even if it's different from what I think it should be.

Bob Proctor has been teaching the Law of Attraction for 40 years. Success is not about hard work...it's about following your passion. 'It is only the understanding and application of right-thinking that counts' - Bob Proctor, You Were Born Rich.
In this video Bob talks about the Law of Attraction
44yr frustrated MLM veteran from West Virginia power jumps from 3-ft rule and cold calls to attraction marketing with homemade videos!! ...working from resort island of Bali in shorts and flip-flops.
Hi, my name is Joe Leighton. I'm the author and creator of OTG Attraction Marketing University.
I started this MySpace profile to test the water...so to speak. I'll explain. I've been casually messing around with computers since the late-80's when my boss handed me a second-hand Commodore desktop. Somehow I figured out how to operate a spreadsheet and that was about it.
Remember...no internet in those days so things moved along, but slowly.
When the internet came into vogue, all hell broke loose, and in no time flat, internet entrepreneurs were the richest people on the planet. It was around that time that I started thinking, "How about me?". But, you had to be a techie...and that left me nowhere. But still, I kept my ear to the ground.
About 4 years ago, a friend suggested I join his LinkedIn network. Couldn't quite see why, but I later saw it written-up in Time Magazine. I was in the networking business, so, an online network started to make sense.
I blinked a few times and MySpace appeared...already with over 150 million members and counting. I could see this trend waving bye-bye, and the idea of missing out got up my nose.
That's why I created this MySpace profile...because I had to get involved. I had to find a way to grow my business via Web 2.0. Otherwise, I would miss the tsunami.
And now, through MySpace, I meet, network and help other budding entrepreneurs who are in the same situation that I was...and hopefully my story can help inspire them to discover the Web 2.0 option just like it did. But before I get into all of that...let me just tell you a little bit more about myself..."
Who the hell is Joe Leighton?
Grew up in Bridgeport, West Virginia population 6,000. My boyhood ambition was to play pro football. That idea went up in smoke due to injury in my senior year of college. Oh well, college teaches you to get a job and that's what I did. 3-Piece suits were in fashion, so I bought a few and went to work at one of those Big 8 (now Big 5) public accounting firms. Became a CPA. Country boy took well to the rat race.
Exit big city USA; enter bigger city Asia. a.k.a. Jakarta, Indonesia...cause the firm told me so. We were now chasing petro dollars. Living was easy and the party had started. Poor country, but you wouldn't know it from a 5-star hotel suite. I said "this is nice" and the Universe brought me more. My golf handicap came down and I took up playing rugby as a means of impressing women...and it worked. The Law of Attraction unconsciously applied. You'll see later what I mean.
It seemed that you could do anything you want, if you had money. So wasn't it logical to chase after money?
The chase was on...a business of my own. Yeah, that's right, I left the security of a paycheck in pursuit of the preverbal fame and fortune. Well, it sure beat having a boss. I had seen my own father forced into early retirement after 40 years with a major US corporation. That wasn't gonna happen to me. I was now king of the castle...at least theoretically.
But there was something about traditional business that didn't sit right with me. I didn't like how even our best customers never paid on time. I didn't like sucking up to purchasing managers. I didn't like suppliers who delivered late or employees who took sick days at the drop of a hat. I didn't like (fill in the blank).
But, I endured cause I had to. My own money was invested in that business, and that was something that I couldn't afford to take lightly. So I sucked it up and did whatever it took to keep the business afloat. And at cocktail parties, I was the happy-go-lucky business owner...in actual fact, what a crock of s&t!! The business owned me. It was time to look at other options.
This frustration lead me to MLM. As in, make lots of money so you can make love more. A top earner hit town with pictures of his private jet and 12-bedroom house in Vegas. How could I refuse? The products worked, and the comp plan paid us leaders well. It struck a cord with a fair size crowd and the business prospered. My sponsor was brilliant and had a real passion for the business. No passion for me. I was chasing money.
Residual money. The stuff you get even if you retire. Best model on the planet. Unfortunately, not everyone hits paydirt. In fact, most don't..and I became weary of making new friends and seeing them quit. Better fix that one.
Thank God for personal development. Started with Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Sound economics for wealth creation. My dear dad to a T. Never thought about the residual stuff. Gave me more resolve to make it a priority.
Then came The Secret. My first exposure to the Law of Attraction and the concept of attracting abundance into my life. The Secret fascinated me and inspired me to learn more. I saw attraction as much needed relief from my usual routine of chasing, struggling with and then coercing prospects into submission. Not everybody can and/or wants to do that. And...they don't call it the rejection rocket for nothing. Could I somehow teach my guys to attract people who actually wanted to do business?
So, I signed up for the most comprehensive Law of Attraction course that I could find. Namely, The Science of Getting Rich program developed by teachers from The Secret. What a fantastic program and what a life changing experience for me. I can't say enough to compliment Bob Proctor and his co-authors.
Lesson learned - I needed to stop chasing money and go with my passion. And something had to be done about the struggle, and the stress, and the frustration coming from the 3-foot rule, cold calls and pissing off friends and family. Now, that was a project that I could get excited about.
Once I got real clear about what I wanted and focused on the desired outcome..."the how" began to fall into place. It became obvious that Web 2.0 was the logical choice for attracting prospects eager for help.
And remember from the beginning of my story...I had been experimenting with MySpace. Well, the Law of Attraction is always working, and I stumbled on an internet 2.0 marketing guru. That was my ticket to Web 2.0 marketing proficiency. Which means MySpace and YouTube and several other social marketing vehicles and tools.
So that's how the Law of Attraction/Web 2.0 marriage happened for me and a rough idea of how I now teach others to attract eager prospects to the table.
Web 2.0 marketing is expanding exponentially. Ordinary people who recognize the trend and jump on now, can become Web 2.0 marketing enabled within a few months. And when they do, they never want to return to the "old-fashioned way" of business promotion.
The beauty is that you don't have to be a techie or have a large marketing budget. And, I no longer spend hours making cold calls or waste money buying leads. People call me!
No scripts, No pressure, No selling! No 3-foot rule or any of that junk!
Just being honest, being myself. And when people call, we discuss whether or not my business is a good fit!
It's so much easier answering calls from people who actually want to talk about business.
Who I'd like to meet:
First let me just share with you who I *DON'T* want to meet.
I don't want to meet whiners or complainers. I don't want to meet know-it-alls. I don't want to meet people who have excuses up the *Ying-Yang* for almost everything that they didn't accomplish in their life.
Why?
Because I practice the concept of givers gain...but success won't happen, if I want it for you more than you want it for yourself.
And I don't want to set the bad example of wasting time and energy with the *WRONG* people.
That's why if you're not someone who is *SERIOUS* about success... don't even bother trying to add me as your friend because there's not much I can do to help you.
So then... who do I really want to meet?
Well, let me put it this way:
* If you're bright, friendly, and ambitious... you'll get brownie points.
* If you're a highly-motivated entrepreneurial spirit, and you just need the right opportunity to make it *BIG*... you get two thumbs up.
* If you're the kind of person who is a pioneer doer, a shaker, and a take-no-prisoners action-maker who enjoys a challenge... I give you a 5-star rating.
But the ideal person I'd really like to meet and work with is someone who's already had some level of success in the past.
That means...
If you already a fan of personal development, you know how to sponsor people into your downline and you're not afraid to make a sale,... then you're the kind of person I would like to meet.
If that sounds like you...we need to talk.
