Seriously?! I think we sound pretty original, we don't take our inspiration from just one band or genre, we just take what sounds cool and use it in original and clever ways; we are a band born from the idea of sounding different (hopefully), aren't you tired of hearing the same old chuggy / screamy metal? I certainly am! We're just trying to write good music without any of the tired old cliches or esoteric musicianship! My philosophy when writing a song is that, if it doesn't make you feel anything, its not worth listening to. I'd like to think our songs have feeling and / or are thought provoking but thats a matter of opinion, have a listen and feel free to disagree!! Ry
Welcome to the site, we are A Twist Of Fate. We are a 4 piece Lincoln Based band and we play Alternative Rock / Metal with grunge influences. In various shapes and forms we have been together since 2002 but have only had our current lineup for a few weeks. We play mostly original songs but also have a good range of covers by bands such as Guns N Roses, Incubus, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Lost Prophets, Foo Fighters and Metallica. Our original Material has a very unique sound due to our range of influences. Why should anyone care about us? Because we’re one of the only bands around at the minute that can be discribed as ’Original’.
