Auction for the Promise Club have just enjoyed their first summer of gigging, highlights include headlining the second stage at Surfstock and playing the S.O.H. Ball in St. Agnes.
This Autumn 'Auction' will be making their London debut at the Hope and Anchor in Islington, as well as playing a number of other shows including a one off perfomance in Perranporth with the comedian Arthur Smith (from TV series 'Grumpy Old Men' and 'Arthur Smith's Comedy Club' and the radio show 'The Smith Lectures'). The band will also be playing with 'One-Eyed Doll', a two piece theatrical hard rock duo from Texas, at the Driftwood Spars in October. 'Auction' are currently recording a 3 track CD. Tracks being recorded include Under China, a new version of Number 7 and an, as yet, untitled song previewed at Surfstock. Tracks will be posted on Myspace next month! A music video to accompany Number 7 is also in the final stages of production and will be online by November.
Auction will also be playing a series of acoustic shows over the next couple of months and an acoustic CD will be recorded before Christmas.

I know Rob pretty well too, I did music with him at Truro College like... what bass and rig did he use to record the demo? Sweet bass tone :)

sweet we will do! We defo wanna get us some gigs in cornwall in the not so distant future so if you know any good haunts and fancy teaming up we'd be well up for it! Also if you fancy catching us live we have a few dates in south west before we shoot of up north Cheers Lx
