I've been busy since Bed Bugs was finished. You can check out one of my recent projects,WRITERS BLOCK, a dark short film series about a young writer struggling to discover what makes a good story while at the same time looking for the connection between some unsettling events in his life. The short film series was commissioned by iThentic and the Independent Film Channel (IFC). The task was to create stories about storytelling using readily available, consumer video camera equipment. I shot with the Canon HV20 camcorder and a Redrock M2 adapter. Friends filled the acting roles, and the crew totaled three people including myself. Just shows what you can do on a shoe string!

"Damn, he's plugging a book," you say.

Yup, actually I'm plugging two books and if it means anything to you neither is mine. OK, I'm connected to each (as you'll see if you visit the link below), but I'm not asking you to buy my novella. I do that enough and I think it's time to give attention to the other guys.

I'd like to draw your attention to the following -

Midlisters by Kealan Patrick Burke http://www.bitingdogpress.com/Bitingdogpub/midlisters.htm

AND

Disposal by Jeff Strand http://www.bitingdogpress.com/Bitingdogpub/disposal.htm

Both books are signed limited editions and worth your time and bucks.

If you're a collector (or a potential collector) they are offering a deal where you can get all three books in the set for 25% off. http://www.bitingdogpress.com/Bitingdogpub/purchasenovellas.htm That would mean getting my novella for almost nothing, but as I said I'm not trying to push mine here so if you're looking for one book I suggest either Midlisters or Disposal. I've read them both and I think you'll be quite pleased.

Note 1: Feel free not to post or allow this into your comment section. As long as you read it that's all that matters.

Note 2: Special note to Canadians. Shipping is free to you.

:)

Please help me. John Paul Allen's people are forcing me to hold this copy of his novella Monkey Love toward a camera. If I don't, they will chop off the tails of each of my seventeen children. All you have to do is go to his blog and read the review and if enough of you comment he might let my family go. Here's the link:

While you're at it, here's another important link:

Note: I bet JPA wouldn't like his tail chopped off.

Thanks,
