Audible Audities is a group of four emcees that formed around 1998 in Boulder, Colorado. The group consists of TopiQ(producer/emcee/engineer), Sarasvati(femcee/comedian), Sloppy Joe(emcee/violin/graphic artist) & The Rascal(emcee/graphic artist).
AA tends to lean towards the light-hearted side of hip hop but still manages to touch on important social and political issues. Taking distinct influence from groups like Jurassic 5 and A Tribe Called Quest, Audible Audities maintains a consistently live feel on studio recordings that are often reminiscent of the Old School era of hip hop. Having just finished and released their debut album, "Last Call Poets" (INSTORES LOCALLY,ONLINE & iTUNES!) , the crew has performed their songs for enthusiastic crowds in support of Blackalicious, MF Doom, Cunninlynguists, LuckyIAm of Living Legends,Macklemore, Zion I, 2Mex, & Black Pegasus just to name a few.
