Shotokan karate, any and all major sports, skydiving, snowboarding, partying, random trips to random places around the world, good vodkas, even better sex, different religions, tantric buddhism, I'm sure there are a few more, float some ideas by me. | | Music | The lists keep getting longer . . . I listen to all types of music that consistently has a beat and a melody, save county. Thus, the bands I like vary from day to day, but to name a few I'll just start with the one's I've seen in concert recently. Incubus, System of a Down, P.O.D., Hed P.E., Sugarcult, Chevelle, Stone Sour, RadioHead, Beastie Boys, B.B. King, Tori Amos, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Audioslave, Ben Folds, Underworld, Beck, Papa Roach, Outkast, Godsmack, Sevendust, Good Charlotte, Fenix TX, Marcy's Playground. That’s about 4 years worth, with a few other bands I don't recall. | | Movies | I'll make this list short, although it could be much worse. First off, I run sound and lights for a Rocky Horror Picture Show cast out of Philly and joining a cast in Maryland, so you know I love that cult classic. One of the best movies ever, Shawshank Redemption. After that, anything Monty Python, Pink Floyd's The Wall, A Clockwork Orange, Requiem for a Dream, Pi, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Fight Club, The Martix, things along those lines. |

About me:
Name a piece of electronics and chances are I've fixed/broke it. . . name a sport medium chances are I've conquer/been conquered by it. From skydiving to snowboarding to shotokan karate, if it can kill you I'm more than happy to give it a chance. I make enough money to fill my addiction as a systems engineer working on various systems at various times, and just moved to MD for a chance to find something new. Give me a buzz sometime, IM IAmTheTrueVash.

Who I'd like to meet:
People who know how to balance fun and intelligence are all too rare these days. I am looking for someone not afraid to try new things, get a little dirty, but also who's IQ stands above 70 (high standards in today's world I know.) Life can get monotonous quick so I enjoy doing lots of random things at random times, and am up for trying just about anything once. Anyone who is open minded and has a sense of humor is more than welcome to join in and hang out. Just have a sense of humor and be trustworthy, and a good time can be had by all.
