Wallet... checks. Phone... check. Lock the door behind me, and off to the show... not the gig, the show! That's the essence of Audioboxx. We are driven to provide an experience of live entertainment that proves to be a rock concert! What kind of rock concert? Well, you might like Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top and Santana. Maybe you're looking for Poison, Def Leppard and Journey. Or maybe you've had a stressful week and want to let loose with some AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Metallica. What ever your flavor might be, Audioboxx wants to serve it to you. Hey, you're the audience which makes you the most important people in the place! Our goal is to ensure you get home with a smile on your face and unforgettable memories. We take the music and the show very seriously, but that doesn't mean we take ourselves very seriously. We love having fun on stage. We joke around with each other and the audience, and the playfulness is genuine because we truly love what we do. More importantly, we enjoy meeting and talking to our crowd on breaks. It gives us the time to be personable with you. We get the chance to learn about you. Especially what kind of music you're passionate about. Many times our next set is designed completely of the song requests we received on our break. How perfect!
Audioboxx is comprised of Mario Guzman, Andy Kimberly, Jesse Easter and Beau Melia.
Mario possesses a fun loving attitude and captures you with memorizing vocal ability. Along with his unbelievable range, if you close your eyes he'll make you believe your hearing the original singer. Don't let his voice absorb all of your attention though. The vibration you feel in your chest is coming from his bass. The Man does nothing but groove with tremendous thunder. A vocal power and presence who owns the stage.
Andy wields his guitar with precise skill combined with reckless abandon. His guitar rhythms can be as beautiful as a painting. Step on a distortion pedal and take a ride of relentless force. A fine tuned Ferrari, a Monster truck, or a fat nasty Harley... it just depends on the pedal. I sometimes wonder if he's playing his guitar or punishing it! Andy's artistry electrifies everyone in the room with powerful finesse and mind boggling leads.
Jesse is our utility-guy. A term used with utmost respect. Jesse brings an arsenal of talent to every instrument he plays, and he plays all of them! He pounds the B-3 organ like he invented the thing! Between the intricate and funky keyboard licks, the rock solid guitar rhythms, tasteful bass parts, amazing drumming and let's not forget the extraordinary vocal harmonies. Jesse brings an assault of skill that dictates excellence.
Now we come to me, Beau, I know and love my part in this band. I provide a percussive map for my bothers to follow while doing my best to compliment their playing. Make no mistake, my main goal is to get your feet dancing or your head bopping. Either way, I'll attack my drum kit with tenacious intent to make that happen.
We all have our own unique personalities mixed with individual musical abilities that make this band work. Most people would think that's all you need. It's not! We also respect and love each other as brothers. We are family.
