AUDIOGLIDER / Autovelox was named Roberto Sodano, a lot longer ago, than he's willing to admit. Born to italian parents in Wales, he knew he didn't
want to enter the family business and decided upon an obsession with music
from a very early age. Having been a drummer and guitarist in indie bands
both at home and abroad - he also became obsessed with electronica, and has been seeking out a way to marry the two. With the dawn of house music, he quickly saw a way of engaging with an audience that was not strictly
governed by a stage, but with an immersive set. With technology came the
ability to express the sonic ideas in his head without the need for a big
studio set up. Hurrah!
AUDIOGLIDER's main musical strand is 80's inspired downtempo, weaving in a
shoegazing sensibility with a funk and dub based rhythm section and
structures often found in more club based music - with influences like
Ulrich Schnauss, Cocteau Twins and Manual, while Robert Sodan is the dance
and club music alter ego with breaks and proggy house being favorites, again
with a tuff rhythm section to weave hypnotic sonic structures around.
Latest news is that two AUDIOGLIDER tracks - Zusammenallein and Whiskers - are featured on Nick Warren's GU 30 Paris, release Feb 19 '07, on Global Underground, and are now signed to GU Music. He is currently preparing more tracks for release and looking for suitable labels, as well as looking around for other outlets for music distribution incl. advertising, soundtracks, soundbeds.

Franco Cangelli stands for an uncompromising quality punch, spiked with motorcity soulfulness, Chicago jack while still gently pushing the envelope. Feel free to call his music deep techno, Detroit techno, deep house… he doesn’t really care about monikers anyway.
Hailing from Gent Belgium, he made his debut with the successful 2005 release Spectre on Belgian imprint Toys For Boys. Since then he went on to release on various labels such as Sushitech, Aesthetik, Seventh Sign, Persistencebit and his own imprint Mowar.
