We are The UKs number 1 music community. If we like something, then everyone likes it. We have pretty much discovered and promoted every successful band to come out of the UK for the last 3 years. In effect, we rule.

About me:
AUDIOJUNKIES is the UK's Number 1 Music Community. It all started a few years back when a group of likeminded people decided that to create the greatest music site in the world. Then they changed their minds, joined a band and became Girls Aloud. Inspired by their original idea, to create the perfect music site, Jed worked hard and produced a fanzine style 'webzine' that updated every fortnight. It was pretty much like a magazine, except instead of pages you had links, and controversy and girls with scribble on their cleavage. He somehow persuaded alot of great writers to join the team, who learned from their experience and some of them are subverting the music industry from the inside. Audiojunkies was not like any other music site. They wrote about music like it was the only thing keeping them alive. Every word was a stabbing motion in the face of other music sites who chose to view music journalism as a job. Its not a proper job at all. Anyone can write about music. If someone is passionate enough about it, the words will just flow. What Audiojunkies needed was a system to be put into place where normal every day people can enter the world of Music Journalism without having to go through the ritualistic initiation of having their article mauled by an Editor who has no interest in the writer's true intention, and is more worried about the word count.
Audiojunkies was doing well, but Jed needed to step up a gear. He heard a tale of a mythological girl called Tina who had the power to make his dreams come true. So she did. She took Jed's ideas and brought them into fruition. You want a system where anyone can upload an article and have it appear on the front page without any interference from the Editor? Are you mad? Yes? Okay then. Its done. They kept the same ethics as the original Audiojunkies, but improved on it. Its still as mad as a bag of Boglins, but its contained within a community of people who are bursting with ideas and enthusiasm for Music... which is what makes it work so well.
Audiojunkies Community: Everything fell into place when someone had the idea of making it a community. Yes, a load of articles written by Jed Shepherd and Barry Nicolson is what most music magazines/websites would give their left sock for, but its so one sided isnt it? So The Community Forum was born. Here you would find musicians past present and future, mentalists, nymphomaniacs, geniuses, wallflowers, extroverts, philosophers, wannabes and Matthew Thomas Hurst. What brings them all together is cheesy to say the least, but the LOVE OF MUSIC. It can overcome any ailment, its the universal language which we are more than happy to share with others through the sharing of music.
Oh did I mention all the free music you get? Ill let you discover that yourself.
Audiojunkies is currently involved with many wonderful projects which will further prove the point that it truly is the greatest music community in the UK. The World is next.
