Event: AUDITION ATLANTA ~ The ROCK Edition 2008
Up to 40 of Atlanta's "Best of the Best" ROCK Bands
• Event Description
1. Audition Atlanta is an opportunity for Local Bands to audition for Local Bar Owners looking to book bands for their establishments. Audition Atlanta will take place at various bars around the Atlanta area and will be judged in 5 categories:
Audience Response, Originality, Performance, Appearance & Showmanship.
For the 1st Round, 4 Bands will play one set each with 2 Bands being eliminated. The Top 2 bands move on to the next round. A total of 3 Rounds, Semi Finals & Finals. The Top Winner will opening act for National Artist. Other prizes including: Cash Prizes, given out to the Final Top 5 Bands and other prizes including Studio Time at RexTrax Studios, Gift Certificates from Sponsors and other prizes TBA.
***The 1st 20 Bands participating will be on the 20 song CD that will go out to Atlanta's Bar/Club Owners for bookings. (First 20 bands to submit their PROFESSIONAL DEMO gets on The Audition Atlanta 20 Song CD***
By submitting your Demo, Each band allows Audition Atlanta the right to use their song on The Audition Atlanta CD.
2. Totally open to the public, we will be advertising on Radio & Publications... Your Logo will be in all ads and promotional tools, as a sponsor of the event. (See below)
3. Some Bars might have a cover charge.

• Number of People: 150 - 350 per night (Bands are required to bring out their fan group. This is a major part of the Audition, seeing how bar/club owners want to know how many fans will actually attend their bookings.)
• Name & Address of Venue: Bars in the North Atlanta area TBA located in Alpharetta, Atlanta, Canton, East COBB, Cumming, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Macon, Norcross, Roswell & Smyrna. (These locations could change)
All Bars/Clubs are licensed establishments.
