As many of you know Audra has been diligently working on new music, dropping mixtapes, making club appearances, as well as performing all over the east coast, including stops at BET’s Blaze the Stage, etc. Finally, Audra is in the process of recording her debut album, having lined up studio time with several platinum and multi-platinum producers to assist with the project.
Many of you are also aware that Audra is still in school and working towards her degree in the process, but she is determined to put out the most dynamic album and represent for Virginia and the east coast in a similar fashion to her peers and idols like Pharell, Timbaland, Missy and Trey Songz just to name a few. During this time Audra will definitely need your support, as the schedule will be grueling, but music is her passion and she feels that her fans deserve nothing less than the best. The first single from the new album is tentatively scheduled for release on February 14, 2010, the anniversary date of her first Sweet & Sour Mixtape.

19 yr old Audra Green is a rapper/songwriter who was raised in Richmond VA by way of Washington DC. As her mother’s only child, Audra was pushed into playing sports and writing at an early age. She remembers sitting on the porch as a child and writing out her thoughts in order to stay out of trouble. As her imagination grew, she began to write more and creativity began to shine through. Audra sees music as a motivation in itself and feels that she can be successful without conforming to the norm when it comes to her lyrics.
Audra is currently a student at Old Dominion studying Music Business. She is also working with Timbaland’s newest protégé Wizz Dumb and has written/referenced tracks for major artists such as Trina and Estelle. She is also nominated for two SEA (Southern Entertainment Awards) for her organization “Music for a Cause.” Music for a Cause is a charitable organization founded by Audra in order to benefit and raise awareness for Teens with HIV/Aids. Teen Pregnancy and prevent violence among our youth. They travel from state to state holding events and seminars to support various causes. In addition she is nominated for 2 DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) Entertainment awards in the “Best Female Rapper” and “Community Service” categories.
With her music currently in rotation on over 90 radio stations in France, Audra is headed straight for success in the music industry. At the age of 16 she headlined an all female tour traveling through major cities on the East Coast. She has opened for the likes of Keyshia Cole, Karina Pasian, Ray J and Lloyd to name a few. Audra’s major musical influence is Lauryn Hill mainly because she set the tone for talented women who were successful in the music industry without using sexuality to sell records. Because of this Audra’s next mixtape “The Miseducation of Audra” will consist of Audra freestyling to Lauryns debut solo LP in its entirety.
