Her story? She learned to mix thanks to her friend Mr Boo at the end of 2005 after “touching the buttons” of the mixing table “by accident” and falling instantaneously in love with it!
Her debut were similar as many: playing in restaurants, friends’ bars and other birthday parties, here and there, as a hobby; but after getting involved with the Miaou Mix crew things started to evolve and her path took a turn…
“Nothing’s better than freedom”
In 2007, everything changed for Audrey as she decided to transform her hobby into a real job. And it worked right away! All the clubs in Paris had their eyes on her: Paris Paris, Baron, Maxim’s (Partyanimals), Fleche d’or, Batofar, Showcase, Bagatelle, Régine, Chez Moune etc
Name any hype club in Paris she’s played there!
Good clubs but also good parties (Sonia Rykiel, Electrochic, Elegangz and recently Ekler’o’shok) and in good company, Man&Man, River, Bandit, Boo, Toxic Avenger…
Not stopping at this local success she’s even gotten her hands on production! With the collaboration of Toxic Avenger she produced a powerful electro piece called “Hein?!” and an original, and just as good, remix of the Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t be nice”.
Only a very few girls were able to make a name in the French electro scene, and Audrey Katz is definitely one of them, she invaded Paris, but she’s now ready for harder, better, faster.. you know the melody…
Audrey Katz’s motto is to « go further and better »!! So get ready…
