Hey! Thanks again for being our friend. Make sure you have a little listen to our album Songs For Abandoned Buildings. If you like it, please follow the link on the player to buy it from itunes so we can play a town near you! Don't forget to give us a review on itunes:)
If you do not know already there has been an
excited "Ringmaster" running through the lengths and breadths of
North London in the hunt for a brand new experience; to venture into the
Bohemian undergrowth that is Camden town. This my good fellow friends,
bountiful ladies and Damsels of sorts, is…
Featuring a variety of real and imaginary circus performers and actors
- and a transformed Dingwalls - the Camden Circus is nothing less than the road
that leads to the palace of wisdom. With bands (Molotov Jukebox and
Vincent & The Bomb Neutron) + a selection of London’s finest alternative DJs
from 12am till 4am - this is not just a night out, it is an investment in
future memories.
Not scheduled to return for another 100
years, this is, as our heads might say, ONCE IN A LIFETIME. Tickets only £8
(adv) £10 (otd)
hey dude, i met u in london on a weird day, we were playing guitar with some rastas as i remember. your music is fucking ace. think crunch is my fave so far. big love. dave. xxx hope your ok cos you seem pretty down that day. really made my day talking to you then. made me smile alot. xxxx
Yes, this is it, the last ever TAKEN live at the Strongrooms, but do not despair our live gigs will be ressurected in a Camden venue (to be announced shortly) whilst our Strongrooms slot will soon become a spanking hot DJ night hosted by ourselves - TAKEN DJs - and featuring the cream of London's alternative DJs guesting on rotation. Not to be missed, our final night will include a selection of our favourite artists from the last year along with surprise special guests, no details can be given away, but rest assured anyone who has been before will be entertained to the max, those of you who have not will be kicking yourself you were not here sooner. To be continued...
Hehe - I nearly said something in my original comment along the lines of "bloody hell, you really are from the IoW!".
Well... the three imaginary girls in the group might be from the IoW but sadly we're not, although coincidentally we do all want to live there now.
I'm not sure "reforming" is the right word, since we were not exactly "formed" in the first place - but we have another new song recorded already and might just record a few more before our tiny attention spans drift away again.
This Saturday at The Strongrooms - amazing line-up, including late addition the oustanding Molotov Luke Cocktail - only £2 with this flyer - or jpeg / photo of flyer on your phone...
