Aroma di Amore makes subtle as well as raw songs with the occasional flavor of absolute madness. The core of the band consists of Fred Angst on guitar, Lo Meulen on bass & Elvis Peeters behind the mic.

Seine Op-Art-Konstruktionen feierten manche als revolutionär, als Zwölfriffmusik. Dabei handelte es sich dabei um akustische Täuschungen, um uralte Tricks, um nicht viel mehr als Kontrapunkte in ungewohnten Momenten, Dissonanzen, Harmoniebrüche und Intervalle wider Erwarten oder Hörgewohnheit. Was M.C. Escher und Victor Vasarely auf der Leinwand machten, das versuchte er mit ShamPain in Klang umzusetzen. In den Ohren von Jazzhistorikern ein alter Hut. Nur hörten Jazzhistoriker eben nicht ShamPain. Und die Hörer von ShamPains verstanden nichts von Musiktheorie.
