I would like to tell tell you that I spend all my free time filling my head with Hemmingway or Virginia Woolf or Hunter S Thompson or some other great drunk that committed suicide,but the sad fact is I don't.In fact I believe books are to entertainment what chopsticks are to eating,a slow,outdated,pretentious hindrance.Books are for homework and throwing at criminals.Hitler wrote a book, you want to be like Hitler?All that being said,David Sedaris is hysterical,you should download him on to your iPod.Vanity Fair and The New Yorker are great for airplanes.
Heroes
I'm trying to figure out the difference between a hero and an influence.I guess an influence has qualitys you admire and try to emulate whereas a hero has qualitys you admire but could never duplicate.Therefore,my heroes are cheerful homeless people,plucky crack-whores and prison sex-slaves with a positive outlook on life.All heroes for their ability to keep reaching for that rainbow even when the chips are down.
