Influences
Augury's influences are as varied as are the members, leading to a 'melting pot' of unique songs and musicianship.
Between 1993 and 1997 Augury released two 'absolutely amazing' albums.
The first born was 'Moment of Grace' followed by 'Bending Twisting Turning'. Both albums, though very different have two things in common, fantastic 'timeless songs' and brilliant musicianship and arrangements. For 4 years Augury played live and then decided to go their separate ways, each member concentrating on their individual direction in life, ranging from solo music projects to personal journeys of introspection.
Late February 2009 the five members of Augury decided the time was right to 'crank up ' the machine and 'take off'. This has resulted in an amazing 'chemical reaction' which is now fueling 'phase 2' in the journey of this incredible musical force.
Lakeland records based in the U.K have decided to re-release Augury's legendary first album 'Moment of Grace' which is currently available at their 'online' store or through the usual suspects like itunes, cd baby, amazon.co.uk etc.
