August is Over started in February 2008 with original members Randy Burlingame, Michelle Herrick, and Alex Mathieu. Over the next year and a half, the band went on to release a handful of demo CD's, and perform numerous show dates around New England.
In the summer of 2009, drummer Alex Mathieu made the decision to depart ways with the band. Thus leading Randy and Michelle to finding a new drummer, and a 2nd guitar player; David Marcus and Jeff Sabola.
At the start of September 2009, August is Over's new lineup was complete and things were starting to gain momentum. The band is already starting to play their fair share of shows, has put out some new music, and is in the process of preparing to record their EP, which will be released in the spring of 2010.
As a band we have some big aspirations and goals we'd like to accomplish, and we'd like to thank all of you who have supported us so far along the way. You guys help us make this whole thing happen. Thanks so much.
