BIOGRAPHY: August Way began as songwriting team Mobius and Omen, who later joined forces with Brendan Elliott on bass and Julian Porter on drums to form the band. Mobius is a classically trained cellist and founding member of award winning band George.August Way have toured up and down the east coast, playing with some of Australia’s best loved performers along the way… including Mark Seymour and Human Nature.August Way were finalists in the MusicOz & Australian Songwriters Awards and named ‘Best New Artists’ by POPrebublic.August Way received national airplay on radio and television with previous singles ‘Here Where You Are’ and ‘Beloved’. The band also had ‘Single of the Week’ on iTunes, with ‘This Is the Other World’ reaching Number 15 on the iTunes Download Charts.August Way will be embarking on a tour of the US & UK this October/November before heading back into the studio to record their highly anticipated second album early in 2008.
