This project was started in '99 when a dear friend of mine introduced me to a program made for the original Playstation.I got more and more involved with the program, to the point of which I sort of adopted it, and started making tracks at my own abode.The alias used, reflects the program's response in the music making process aka glitches.For example, I may modify a sound/riff to make my own, and find that the sound/riff I changed, has been altered once more (for better or worse) with the program's own contribution or, has spawned another completely independent sound to the song.Its like Im collaborating with another person.Also, Ive been told some of the work I've written could be classified in the glitch genre, hence, the term "glitch" was implemented as part of the alias.The "play" was inspired from the Playstation console.99% of the content you hear, is work I created.The other percent comes from glitches and recording software, which I use for incorporating sounds "outside the box" such as movie samples and sometimes parts of someone elses work for the purpose of remixing.
This project has yielded immense gratification and has played a key role in keeping my demons in check.So, strap on some headphones and enjoy ;)
