Since 1997, AURAL has been the ambient music collaboration of atomatik13 and unterm rad. The pair have been involved in many projects together over the years, including rekt and month of grey.
In May 2002, their compositions were highlighted in Digital Visions, a juried electronic media exhibition curated by Sacramento's Center for Contemporary Art.
AURAL is an examination of conscious states. It emphasizes the subjective nature of atmosphere, tone, and texture; and understates rational, objective notions of rhythm and melody. Sonic elements normally relegated to the background (an analogue for the subconscious) are allowed to surface, while the regimented logical consciousness is subdued and makes only a passive influence.

There's a gothic quality to your work in the literal rather than popular sense which I find wonderful.
Your pieces give me images of feverish nights spent only half awake, and half in delirious dreams - distant trains passing and strange creatures stirring in the night..
